A crude oil pipeline was broken earlier today in Burnaby, near Vancouver, spitting out its durty content into Burrard inlet for over 20 minutes.

The news is making the rounds even in the French media. A more in depth article as well as videos are is available on ctv.ca.

Apparently the line ruptured after being hit by some road construction equipment. Of course, the main concern is environmental as wild life lives in the area and part of the oil overflowed in the inlet.
